We’re at the vanguard of frontier technology
In pretty exciting news, The White House announced our work with The Quad Investors Network back in May, a non-profit organisation working with investors across Australia, India, Japan, and the US formed to empower innovators across the Indo-Pacific through vital frontier technologies. Check out our case study here, and get familiar with the official White House release here!
Jo has joined the team…
This quarter we welcomed Jo to the Drifteam, a Creative Ops and Project Manager with a love for writing poetry and meditating based in sunny South-West London. When she’s not experimenting with new recipes or sampling spicy foods, Jo can be found exploring London boroughs by foot, immersed in an all-encompassing sound bath, or honouring her not so secret love of Below Deck. When it comes to work, Jo is a top-notch collaborator, experienced in both supporting impact-driven creativity, and working to shape lasting relationships and efficient processes with digital innovators, colleagues, and friends. Welcome to the team, Jo!
What’s next for equity?
Our friends over at PLATF9RM hosted our latest iteration of Creative Roundtables, bringing together three fantastic local speakers, and a brilliant Brightonian audience to talk all things equity. Big thanks to our guests…
🎉 Isabel Garvey, (she/her) Sussex Network Manager for The Girls' Network
🌟 Toni Finnimore, (she/her) founder of The Social Society, and
🌞 Kaia Allen-Bevan, (she/her) Racial Justice and Anti-Racism Advocate and TedX speaker working with Watch This Sp_ce!
If you’re curious about what went down, our roundtable round-up will be on the website soon - a whistle-stop tour through our conversation and questions.
Let’s shoot for purpose
Back in April, our co-founder Abb-d put pen to paper to discuss the ever-present purpose vs profit debate, advocating for transparency, collaboration and triple bottom line thinking. Shaping a purpose-driven business that also turns a profit is no mean feat, but structures like the Better Business Act, 1% for the Planet, and B Corp accreditation help us to align our businesses with our values. Explore the piece on Maddyness here!
Favourite five from the team…
