GRO-OP in the news
This July, Driftime®’s GRO-OP cooperative concept has been featured on Creative Boom, a well-respected industry title spotlighting the very best in design and innovation.
Creativity and design go way beyond making something beautiful; problem-solving is ingrained in the nature of designers, who have a huge part to play in driving the world towards a greener, more socially balanced future.
GRO-OP was born from our 2024 Hackathon, a collaborative and intensive experiment that tests what our team can achieve with creativity in an all-hands four-day sprint. "We worked hard to build a digital solution to a real-world problem that has sturdy legs and a viable business model, resulting in GRO-OP, your go-to community cooperative", says Driftime® CCO, Abb-d Taiyo.

Instant Aid launches a fresh website and new brand identity designed by Driftime®
As the first responders in conflict and natural disaster areas, Instant Aid takes immediate action on emerging and continuing crises across the globe, launching with a streamlined website and succinct visual language designed by Driftime®.
From kitchens in Kyiv to creating a safe haven in Afghanistan, Instant Aid are pioneers in the landscape of international humanitarian support, wherever possible arriving on the ground in as little as 48 hours. Instant Aid remains an enduring and vital beacon of hope amidst the continuing crises unfolding across the globe.
By moving away from the classic light-blue crest employed by many legacy NGOs, the logo was designed to symbolise aid using the six-pointed 'medicinal star' in an alternative way, emphasising the third spoke that signifies ‘early response’ to help represent the core mission, impact, and global reach of the organisation.

What does the new creative workplace look like?
Driftime®’s CCO Abb-d Taiyo is quoted in industry title Creative Review discussing hybrid working, new office models, and what it means to bring together a remote team across continents.
One advantage of hybrid working is the opportunity creatives have to reimagine our dream physical workplace and design it digitally. “We’ve found that the physical distance we experience as a remote team located as far as Portugal through to Brazil, by way of Cardiff, Norwich and the Sussex coast, is closed by the digital spaces we’ve nurtured and physical places we share,” says Taiyo. “We’ve taken the best bits of in-person and remote working and optimised them to serve each of our team who all have different needs and desires.”
