nce founding the business in 2016, we have always had the ambition to work no more than four days a week, taking inspiration from organisations that put the wellbeing of their workforce before profit, and team health before wealth.
Driftime® Co-founder and CCO, Abb-d Taiyo, spoke to the BBC about using AI as a design and impact “ally” instead of a replacement for creativity, and how that helps facilitate our efficient workflow. It’s an ongoing process, but thanks to AI we’ve been able to allocate more time, energy, and resource to our clients and partners to deliver impactful digital design, all within a neat four day week.

Aligning planet-first investment with climate solutions.
By working closely with small-scale agri-food businesses to strengthen their climate and biodiversity offerings, the ClimateShot Investment Coalition (CLIC) helps to direct investment into global projects with big impact, connecting international climate finance with progressive agrifood systems.
During the summer months of 2023, we worked with CLIC to create a dynamic digital platform that communicates their message succinctly and maximises impact, resulting in an organic and engaging site that hosts members, investors, content, and the climate curious. Our work with CLIC was the first website designed for this initiative, building their identity from no previous digital presence into an established site empowering real change, from the ground up.

From encouraging self-management, to facilitating those difficult interpersonal conversations at work, there’s a lot to unpack when it comes to being a conscious leader. This February, Abb-d joined Ruth Farenga’s roundtable to dig deep into his experience as a leader and advocate for empowering teams.
Effectively leading the next generation of design talent calls for a holistic approach to collaboration, taking into account the full scope of what it means to be a colleague and leader with ambition.
