Driftime®’s behind-the-scenes contributions to COP29, on-stage presence at INTL Assembly, and pen-to-paper words for Civil Society Magazine
Following a busy November including COP29 in Baku, Design Declares in London, and INTL Assembly in Glasgow, we’ve decided to take a thoughtful pause on our communications as we come to the end of 2024
⏰ Short on time? Here’s the nutshell…
❤️🩹 Jasmin Mouflard, founder of Instant Aid, and Abb-d Taiyo define how rebranding can grow a charity’s donor base and enhance reputation for social impact in print with Civil Society Magazine.
✍️ Abb-d Taiyo shared his insight at Design Layers, a conference investigating the intersection of creativity, ethics and business goals, hosted by Readymag.
🌎 From a Driftime®-designed platform making an appearance at COP29, to a vibrant Design Declares event in London, and a stint up at INTL Assembly in Scotland, we’ve been busy behind the scenes this November!
⏸️ We’re taking a thoughtful pause on our communications – have a read of our blog to find out why.
Elevating impact and building trust with a compelling brand identity
Driftime® CCO, Abb-d Taiyo speaks to Civil Society Magazine for an in-depth feature on how a focused, strategic rebrand can revitalise charity missions, attract new funding streams, and accelerate social impact.
Rebranding is often an overlooked tactic in a charity’s fight for donor engagement, brand visibility and organisational growth. But, just like any other commercial business or organisation that strives to reinforce its relevance and credibility in a world of constant change and competition, charities, too, must reappraise their entire brand world to determine whether it remains fit for purpose.

Building a people-first design business at the Design Layers conference
Sharing risk can strengthen partnerships, empower your team, and lead to long-term success. Abb-d Taiyo speaks to his experience in the design world and why risking it all to push forward is often the only option.
One of the most powerful ways to form strong partnerships is to give before you get. Instead of pushing for large contracts from the beginning, start small. This can mean offering valuable advice, running a low-risk pilot project, or providing tools that benefit the client without a hefty price tag…

From Baku to Glasgow…
From COP29 in Azerbaijan, to INTL Assembly in the Scottish city of Glasgow, Driftime® has been at the forefront of several impactful events and initiatives this November.
It’s been a busy month for Driftime, with events popping up across the UK and wider Europe. We were excited to see the Climate Finance Reform Compass being mentioned by our partners CPI at COP29, supporting critical conversations on transparency and progress empowered by a trackable climate finance framework, as designed by Driftime. We also participated in the second (very successful) Design Declares event of the year, and joined forces with Readymag at the INTL Assembly conference held in Glasgow. What a way to end 2024!
We’re taking a thoughtful pause…
At Driftime®, our purpose has always been to empower meaningful impact – not just through our work, but also in how we show up for our IRL and URL community.
As we reflect on our journey through 2024, we’ve made the decision to take a thoughtful pause on our communications. This is not a retreat, and certainly not forever, but more a case of taking a moment to reflect, connect and create in a new and refreshing way.
When we return, it will be with renewed purpose and intention, sharing stories and insights that connect and resonate with our community of readers, watchers, and browsers. We can’t wait to reconnect and share what we’ve been working on – and until then, we’ll be ever-focused on making every moment count, both on and offline.
