Curate Labs have evolved!
Four an a half years on, and we've entered a new chapter in our business.
It’s been a while since our last newsletter, and since then we’ve been keeping busy getting our ducks in order (no easy feat).
⏱ Short on time? Here’s a summary…
Curate Labs is no longer, we’re now Driftime® – a digital product design practice for like-minded travel and lifestyle brands. Press release here. We’ve moved our newsletter from Mailchimp to Substack. If you’re still subscribed, thanks for sticking around and lending your support! Through Substack, we’ll be aiming to provide more valuable content and insight more regularly (monthly to be precise), and hope you’ll stay to join the conversation (there’s now commenting – let’s chat! 💬)
🐢 Here’s the long(er) form version…
With everything aligned nicely (the ducks), we’d love to (re)introduce ourselves…
We are Driftime® – a digital product design practice for like-minded travel and lifestyle brands. A creative practice evermore for ethics and opportunity, driven to push social, economic and environmental standards.
Since October 2019, we’ve been slowly restructuring the business to better reflect our positioning and where we are heading as a company. A natural transition from Curate Labs to Driftime® took place, maintaining the same ethical approach but with a new look.
With this change comes many obvious things like a new brand, website and service list – as well as elements behind the scenes such as new policies around diversity, inclusion, the environment and more. With this comes better process and management, like being able to officially say “we use 100% green renewable energy to power our business and the websites we create, both internally and for partners”.
Hphweww, that feels good…
Following this, we have applications for 1% for the Planet, carbon offsetting through Trees for Life, creating better opportunities for minorities through mentorship and educational programmes - all eventually leading to our B-Corp application.

🧑💻 Other Changes
You’ll notice that our newsletter now runs on Substack. We’ve made this transition to better manage the purpose of our output – meaning we’ll be aiming to provide meaningful content and insight on a more regular basis (monthly).
If you’re bored of all this (and we don’t blame you as we’ve been largely quiet) you can unsubscribe below. This makes us extremely sad 😢, but we understand and promise to not bother you again.
